NU-CON cept "Regular" Luminous Daub / Paste

Practicemakes perfect

IMPORTANT: The Regular Luminous daub is VERY different than Ultra-Luminous technology. While Ultra-Luminous is easy to use, the"regular" luminous daub will take much more practice to use.

NU - CON cept Luminous Daub / Paste

or

Regular red or blue daub to mark cards

(Evidence disappears over time)

(Amazing - Mark your "friends" cards while they are being used)

Luminous markings are undetectable
by the naked eye, but, now you
can see were the marks are.

(You can mark borrowed Bee, Bicycle, Tally Ho or Hoyle Playing cards in front of the spectator without them seeing marks)

Advantages of luminous daub / paste:

Note: Paste is only recommended for people who MUST mark cards while in front of spectators. If you can switch the borrowed deck for your own pre-mark cards, I suggest using the solutions since the solutions tend to be more deceptive.

Disadvantages of "regular" Luminous daub

WARNING: Before you buy the "regular" Luminous daub/paste or the "regular" luminous dust. Please consider the following issues:

  1. Bear in mind that the regular luminous marker is easy to use when applied to the red printed areas of red backed playing cards. Unlike Ultra-Luminous, the regular luminous marks are not as deceptive and may be seen if the regular luminous chemicals are applied to the white areas of the cards.

  2. Conversly, daub/paset and daub/dust products are applied to the cards with your finger. Since your finger (even your pinky), is relatively wide, the odds are high that the regular luminous products will hit white areas of your cards, which raises your risk of exposure. NOTE: This is not a problem with Ultra-Luminous chemicals.

  3. A common workaround for the problem is to make the "regular" luminous marks lighter and more subtle. But, this also means that the marks are harder to read and more care needs to be taken.

  4. Therefore, NU-CONcept does not recommend the use of "regular" luminous daub/paste or the regular luminous daub/dust.

  5. If you want to make an ad-hoc marked deck by secretly marking someone elses cards while they are watching, NU-CONcept recommends  Ultra-Luminous technology, N-Dust, Juice Dust and our final choice would be to use daub/paste which matches the color of your cards.

  6. The final disadvantage of all daub/paste products is the fact that a "paste-like" substance tends to have a tendency to dull the finish of your cards. This is not an issue when using NU-CONcept dust products, which are very long lasting and easy to use.

Regular red or blue daub to mark playing cards

Note: When comparing the luminous daub to the "regular" red or blue daub, the luminous daub / paste is more deceptive to a spectator's naked eye, since gimmicked sunglasses are required to make the daub markings stand-out. Conversely, for those people who do not want to wear sunglasses, the red or blue daub is the preferred "ad-hoc" marking method using a borrowed deck.

Note: I can also provide daub to make ad-hoc "glimmer" decks using silver / reflective daub. However, I only sell this "by request" because I feel that a "glimmer" effect is easily noticed by a spectator, if and when a light hit's the cards the wrong way. However, if you want "Glimmer daub" please inquire via eMail.
