Luminous Enhancing Sunglasses may be manufactured using your own Ophthalmic Quality frames (must be Base Curve 8 - wrap around). (**) These custom sunglasses also allow excellent flexibility with regard to the positioning and size of the luminous filter, which is built INTO the lens. (**) - Note: NU-CONcept has subcontracted with a professional lab to place NU-CONcept Luminous Enhancing lenses into professional Ophthalmic Quality frames. Common drug store frames and "knock-off name brand" frames will not withstand the fitting of the NU-CONcept polycarbonate lenses. If you supply NU-CONcept with your own frames, NU-CONcept and the lab cannot be responsible for damage to your frames. The lab will evaluate all customer supplied frames and fit the lenses on a "best effort" basis. However, due to potential hairline structural defects which are not apparent until actual lens mounting occurs, NU-CONcept cannot guarantee results with customer supplied frames. Nor will NU-CONcept be responsible for frame damage during the mounting process. Please be aware that the lab will take up most care when working with customer supplied frames.

Note: If you use our frames or have NU-CONcept order frames for you (after you specify manufacturer and model number), we bear the responsibility of insuring that the lenses fit properly and that the frame is new and undamaged.

The lenses in the photographs above will be replaced with Luminous Enhancing Sunglass lenses which contain a flash mirror coating for maximum deception. Name brand or manufacturer lettering cannot be duplicated on lenses due to copyright/patent infringement issues. If you find ophthalmic quality, base curve 8, frames in your local eye glass store, please email NU-CONcept the manufacturer and model and we will check with our eye doctor to find out if he has it available.

Base Curve 8 definition: Simply ask your eye glass store to measure the frames/lenses to determine if they are a "base curve 8" frame. Base Curve 8 is the most common wrap around frame shape.
Ease of use:
Good for beginner, intermediate and advanced customers. Luminous products work best on red backed cards. Luminous Enhancing Sunglasses are always easier to use than gimmicking your own sunglasses with luminous filter. Luminous marks appear clearer, under a wider variety of lighting conditions, when viewed through NU-CONcept's patented Luminous Enhancing Sunglasses because the filter is built INTO the lenses vs. placing a luminous filter BEHIND regular sunglasses.
Deceptiveness of marks:
Luminous marked cards are very deceptive, yet easy to read close up or across the table when viewed through luminous filtered sunglasses.

Don't forget to think about using optional "un-filtered/ungimmicked MATCHING CUSTOM Luminous Enhancing Sunglasses" . Why would you need matching, un-gimmicked, sunglasses ? You can start the evening by wearing the un-gimmicked sunglasses or you can be casually lay them on the table so people can see they are normal. Then you can easily switch the normal sunglasses for your matching Luminous Enhancing Sunglasses to read the marked cards. The easiest way to change the regular sunglasses for Luminous Enhancing Sunglasses is in your pocket or in the bathroom. Later, you can switch them back for the un-gimmicked sunglasses, in case someone wants to look at them.
